The problem
What do you use to spread butter or anything else, a spoon, fork, or knife? Most people grab a knife. Some odd ones out even use a fork.
The fix
Use a spoon. Growing up I've always been taught that it's easier to spread butter or spreads with a spoon.
Why it works
A spoon has a larger surface area than a knife, so it spreads more in one go.
