Turn Square Parchment Paper Into a Round One
Need round parchment for a round pan, or a makeshift lid to trap steam? Fold it like a paper airplane and cut once.

The problem
Sometimes you need a perfectly round piece of parchment paper for a round pan, or, if you don't have a lid, to lay on the surface and trap steam.
The fix
1. Fold the parchment paper once, then twice, to get a square.
2. Fold it like a paper airplane, the way you did in school, and then once more, for that fighter jet.
3. Lay the point in the center of your pan, cut off whatever goes over the edge, and unfold.
