Onigiri, Easy Japanese Rice Balls

These easy onigiri rice balls are a lovely snack or dinner, whenever you like to eat them. Good rice, wet salted hands, a sheet of nori, that's the whole game.
Ingredients
- 1 part Japanese short grain rice
- 1.2 parts water
- 1 sheet per ball nori
- a rub salt, for your hands
Method

Cook the Japanese short grain rice for about 12 to 15 minutes, using a ratio of 1 part rice to 1.2 parts water.

Once the rice is done, flip it over a bit and transfer it to a bowl.

Slightly wet your hands and rub some salt between them.

Grab a handful of rice and cup it into a triangular shape.

Add a sheet of nori, and there you have it: onigiri.
