Lazy Sushi for When You Don't Want to Cook
If you want Japanese but you don't really want to cook, this lazy sushi is the answer. Cook the rice, cube everything else, and assemble at the table.
Ingredients
- 200 g short-grain Japanese sushi rice
- 240 ml water
- to season sushi vinegar
- a piece fresh salmon, cut into small cubes
- 1 avocado, cubed
- 1 sheet nori, cut into four small squares
- for dipping soy sauce
- to taste wasabi
- to finish sesame seeds
Method

Weigh 200 g of short-grain Japanese sushi rice and 240 ml of water, the ratio for perfect sushi rice is 1 part rice, 1.2 parts water.

Wash your rice thoroughly and throw it into your rice cooker.

Cut your fresh salmon into small cubes. Cube up the avocado too.

Cut a sheet of nori into four small squares and make two small cuts on the side of each square.

Add sushi vinegar to the cooked rice.

Grab some soy sauce and wasabi and start assembling: rice, salmon and avocado on the nori squares.

Finish off with some sesame seeds. An amazing snack.
